A free POS that invoices and balances the till on its own. No monthly fee.

Yes, a genuinely free POS exists: FacturaHub includes a point of sale with no monthly fee and no sales limit, running on the phone, tablet or computer you already have. Every sale issues its simplified invoice with IVA broken down and sequential numbering, catalog stock is deducted automatically and, at day close, the cash reconciliation is calculated for you. Typical POS systems charge a monthly fee, €30-60/month; here the POS, invoicing and till reconciliation are free.

The counter flow is simple: pick the products from the catalog (with size, color or format variants and stock control), the POS calculates the total with its IVA — 21% general or 10% for hospitality — and you record the payment in cash or card. The simplified invoice comes out on its own, valid before the AEAT: up to €400 in general, or up to €3,000 in certain sectors such as hospitality. If the customer needs a full invoice with their details to deduct the IVA, you convert it without rewriting.

At closing, balancing the till stops being calculator time: FacturaHub adds up what was collected per payment method, you count the cash in the drawer and enter the real amount, and the system shows you the difference (if any) with the detail of every sale in the shift. Each close is stored with date and person responsible, so you can always review what happened on a given day.

Because the POS lives inside FacturaHub, it is not an island: sales feed straight into your reports and your IVA. The quarterly Modelo 303 draft is generated automatically from the output IVA on sales and the input IVA on your expenses — which you log by snapping a photo of the receipt on WhatsApp. The 303 deadline is the 20th of the month after the quarter closes, and we remind you beforehand.

You also get a catalog with variants and stock, a client CRM, teams with roles and permissions (so each clerk uses the POS without seeing the accounting), free PSD2 bank reconciliation and, if you sell online with WooCommerce, every store order is invoiced automatically against the same inventory.

The fine print? There is none on the POS: it is free and unlimited, no credit card needed. The only thing metered in FacturaHub is AI (25 free actions per month, such as receipt OCR; if you need more, one-off token packs). And an honest note: FacturaHub does not process card payments — card charges still go through your bank's terminal; the POS records the sale and does everything else. When Verifactu becomes mandatory in 2027, you already comply without switching tools.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the FacturaHub POS cost?

Nothing: the POS, invoices, catalog with stock, till reconciliation and Modelo 303 are free with no sales limit. The only metered thing is AI: 25 free actions per month (such as expense receipt OCR) and, if you need more, one-off token packs that never expire. No monthly fee, no credit card.

Does it process card payments?

No. Card payments still go through your bank's terminal, as they do today. FacturaHub records the sale (cash or card), issues the invoice and balances the till — but it does not move the money.

Do I need to buy hardware?

No. It runs in the browser of any phone, tablet or computer you already own. No cash register or dedicated terminal needed.

Are POS sales valid for the tax office?

Yes. Each sale issues a simplified invoice valid before the AEAT (up to €400 in general, €3,000 in certain sectors), with NIF, IVA broken down and sequential numbering. And the output IVA flows straight into the Modelo 303 draft.

Is it Verifactu compliant?

When Verifactu becomes mandatory — January 2027 for companies and July 2027 for freelancers — FacturaHub activates it without you switching tools or migrating data. Until then, PDF invoices meeting all requirements are perfectly valid.
